← Seven Point Plan
Government Services
Code Enforcement
- Code enforcement has become legalized harassment.
- If code enforcement can’t prove a real health or safety risk, they won’t fine you. Period
- Cap & Eliminate Excessive Fines
- Daily fines on homesteads will be capped and abolished where abusive.
- Zero Selective Enforcement
- Same rules, same treatment—no targeting by neighborhood, income, or politics
- Stop importing bureaucrats. Hire locals who live in the community and understand how people actually live.
- We’re shifting from Code Enforcement to Community Compliance & Assistance—focused on fixing problems, not punishing people.
Building Department
- Service, Not Obstruction
- The Building Department exists to help projects move safely and legally—not to delay, intimidate, or over-complicate approvals.
- Fast-Track for Minor & Residential Work
- Establish guaranteed turnaround times for residential permits, repairs, and small projects—no months-long delays for basic work.
- Right to Challenge Without Retaliation
- Contractors and homeowners may appeal decisions without fear of blacklisting, delays, or targeted enforcement.
- Automatic Amnesty for Old Permits
- Any inactive permit 10, 20, or 30 years old on a property where Palm Beach County has continuously collected property taxes shall be administratively closed without penalty. You can’t tax a property for decades and then pretend the work never existed. Close the permit. Move on.
- No Punishment for New Homeowners
- Buyers will not be fined or penalized for permit issues created by prior owners. Responsibility follows the violator—not the victim.
- Your roof protects your family.
- Five days. Period. No homeowner waits weeks or months for a roof permit.
Agriculture Exemption Department
- If your land is zoned Residential Ag and you qualify, you get the exemption. No more games. No more denial.
- If land is zoned for agriculture and is being used for any legitimate agricultural purpose, it qualifies. Letting land rest and grow is still land management, not neglect.
- Intent Matters
- Agricultural use includes preparation, recovery, rotation, and land conditioning—not just harvest.
- If your land can reasonably support the animal with proper management, one cow can qualify—especially on residential-ag or small farm parcels.
